Responsibilities
- Supervise and support staff in the delivery of services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Ensure compliance with medical documentation standards, including maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments as needed.
- Assist in data collection and analysis to monitor progress and outcomes.
- Provide training and guidance on best practices in special education and applied behavior analysis.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized plans for clients.
- Foster a supportive environment for staff, encouraging professional development and teamwork.
Skills
- Knowledge of medical documentation practices and experience with medical records management.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
- Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities.
- Proficient in data collection methods relevant to behavioral analysis and special education.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff, clients, and families.
