Nearable is a job board platform that connects businesses ("Employers") with job seekers ("Seekers") based on location criteria. When applicable, we distinguish between Seekers and Employers to clarify how we collect, use, or share personal information.

When handling information about Seekers who use our Services to apply for jobs or communicate directly with Employers ("Employer Direct Engagement"), we act as a service provider/processor on behalf of Employers. Employers control how they engage with Seekers and determine the purposes of processing Seeker data in these cases. Seekers should review the privacy policies of Employers they interact with. Nearable is not responsible for Employers' privacy practices. Nearable acts as the business (not a service provider) when Seekers create profiles or use standalone services.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

Seekers:

• Account/Profile Creation: Name, email, location (city, state, ZIP), work history, skills, job preferences, and profile visibility settings.

• Job Applications: Education, work history, compensation, location, availability, documents (e.g., resumes), and responses to Employer questions.

• Communications: Contact details and content when you message us.

Employers:

• Account/Business Info: Company name, industry, location(s), contact details.

• Job Postings: Job titles, descriptions, wages, and location criteria.

B. Automated Collection

• Usage/Device Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, and interactions with the Services.

• Location: General (city/state via IP) or precise GPS (with permission) to match jobs by location.

• Cookies/Tracking: Technologies like pixels and cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) for analytics and ads.

C. Third Parties

• Employers/Vendors: Background checks, identity verification, or referrals.

• Social Logins: Profile data if you sign in via third parties (e.g., Google).

2. How We Use Information
