Caregiver - In-Home Care

Rx Healthcare Services is a nurse owned, family operated business in Sacramento, CA. We're small, locally owned, and we want to change our community one home visit at a time. We are searching for attentive and trustworthy Caregivers to join our team in providing excellent care to our clients. The ideal candidate will be kind, patient and have a passion for helping the elderly.

The Caregiver is expected to be committed to helping our clients feel safe and comfortable in their home or from the comfort of a care facility.

Responsibilities

· Provide face to face care and support

· Complete all necessary care documentation

· Lift, move, and transport client and/or residents

· Ability to learn and facilitate personalized care plans

· Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the client and/or resident, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

· Walk extensively to and from various locations of the facility while assisting client and/or residents.

· Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each client and/or resident in the delivery of services to them. Interact with clients and/or residents in a manner that displays warmth and promotes a caring environment.

· Attend to the individual needs of client and/or residents which may include assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communicating, or other needs in keeping with the individuals' care requirements. Assist patients with medication reminders to ensure all medications are taken.

Requirements

· Current registration with the California Home Care Aide Registry (preferred ahead of time, but we can help you obtain)

· High school diploma or equivalent (further education may be beneficial).

· Driver’s license

· Reliable transportation

Salary: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4-hour shift
• 8-hour shift
• Morning shift
• Evening / Night shift
• Overnights

License/Certification:
