Brightstar Care of Hunterdon County is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA). We have immediate openings in Hunterdon and Warren County across multiple shifts (morning, daytime, evening, overnight, weekends, etc).
Qualifications for CHHA:
- CHHA (Certified Home Health Aide) certification valid with NJ
- Driver's License. Experienced driver with a reliable vehicle
- Strong communication skills and an ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
Responsibilities of CHHA:
- Willing to assist in a home care setting
- Providing assistance and hygiene care as directed, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities and assisting with measurements, if necessary
- Lift and carry up to 40lbs. of equipment for extended periods of time
- Walk or stand for extended periods of time
- Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
- Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing
